At the heart of the brand is Anne Marie Kleis, a passionate creative with a rich multicultural background rooted in Puerto Rico, where she was raised by a Dutch-German father and a Puerto Rican mother. A former top-ranked tennis player for Puerto Rico, Anne Marie represented her country in the 1979 Pan American Games and earned All-Ivy League honors while playing for the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating with a BA in Foreign Languages, she further honed her eye for style at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and gained invaluable experience working with leading French luxury retailers.
